2004 Science Fair Winners

  • Megan Kuper, 11th grade, Greybull, "An Evaluation of Pesticide and Fertilizer Accumulation in Sediments of the Big Horn River"
  • Leah Tenney, 9th grade, Sheridan, "E-Coli contamination of Five-Mile Creek as it Runs Through Ranchester,"
  • Meredith Noble, 8th grade, Pinedale, conducted an interesting study of the complex components of cryptobiotic (biologically alive) soil crusts and what happens when these crusts are damaged. Cryptobiotic soils are vital to the health of dryland soils and ecosystems.
