Cartridges For Kids-Recycling
Powder River Basin Resource Council Recycles Electronics
Income to Youth in Conservation
Four Wyoming Students with winning State Science Fair Projects were awarded some $750 from the Powder River Basin Resource Council's Youth in Conservation Awards.
In 2012, $750 in cash awards were provided to top science fair students with project topics emphasizing reclamation, renewable energy and environmental studies.
The Youth in Conservation funds are derived from generous donations to the Bill Barlow Memorial Fund and the Renewable Energy Fund.
Other income is derived through our Cartridges for Kids recycling program. We are compensated for electronic items that we send on to a responsible recycling company in Colorado recycles and reuses components of the devices. The modest returns for these efforts are placed into our Bill Barlow Youth in Conservation Fund.
