Press Release March 25, 2010- Citizens’ Group Proposes Changes to WOGCC Rules and Regulations
This week the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission accepted public comment on changes to their rules and regulations. The Powder River Basin Resource Council submitted comments and proposed strong rule changes to protect water supplies and public health. The citizens' group submitted the comments on behalf of themselves and the Biodiversity Conservation Alliance, EARTHWORKS' Oil and Gas Accountability Project, Sierra Club, Wyoming Office of The Wilderness Society, Wyoming Outdoor Council and thousands of members throughout the state, including many who live and work in close proximity to oil and gas activities. ....(03/25/2010)
