A Wyoming Weekend- 2026 54th Annual Meeting

Meet Tim Gibbons – Keynote Speaker

Powder River Basin Resource Council Members have gathered on an annual basis for the past 53 years. This coming November the 54th gathering will take place on Saturday Nov. 7th. To create a more inclusive image for the event, a new tagline “A Wyoming Weekend” has been added to draw in another generation of PRBRC members.

In more recent years the annual meeting has integrated our past with the future and the 54th will follow suit. The Board of Directors are proud to announce the annual meeting is returning to the Sheridan Inn.

Tim Gibbons – Bio

To top off the evening, the keynote presentation is planned to be a nod to PRBRC’s agricultural roots as Tim Gibbons from the National Family Farm Coalition (NFFC) engages the audience on why community organizing matters. A life-long Missourian, Tim moved to Columbia, MO to attend the University of Missouri-Columbia where he received his degree in philosophy and political science. Soon after graduating, he started working with the Missouri Rural Crisis Center, a statewide farm and rural membership organization where he helped lead MRCC and organizes a large base of family farmers, livestock producers, and rural residents in support of fair, healthy, and thriving rural economies, fair markets, and clean water and air. After 20 years, Tim transitioned out of MRCC and into NFFC in April of 2026..
