Dear Acting Administrator Wheeler:
On behalf of the members of the Powder River Basin Resource Council, thank you for
the opportunity to submit comments on the EPA’s proposed rollback of the Clean Power Plan.
As we told you at the public hearing in Gillette, Wyoming this past March, our organization
supports the Clean Power Plan and we oppose efforts to roll it back or water it down. As such,
we oppose the agency’s proposed so-called Affordable Clean Energy Rule (ACE) and urge you
to go back to the drawing board to develop a rule that will achieve the necessary objective of
reducing carbon pollution from coal-fired power plants to safeguard the climate. Or, if you do
not want to go back to the drawing board, you can simply implement the Clean Power Plan.
